The day begins with a generous lunch at Orilampi Lodge. After a good meal, we continue to the Finnish Cultural Route cruise, an experience-filled voyage through the stunning landscapes of Repovesi National Park. The vessel Tuuletar III takes us from Vuohijärvi to the Repovesi side, passing sights such as the iconic Lapinsalmi suspension bridge, the Löppönen cave with ancient rock paintings, and the historic Kuutinlahti log floating channel.
During the cruise, we also visit the 700-year-old cemetery of Mäntysaari and its charming chapel. Along the journey, we hear stories of local history and myths and sing traditional sailor songs accompanied by accordion music – all while admiring the lake scenery of Repovesi from the water.
The day concludes with the musical theatre performance ADULT WOMAN, telling the story of legendary Finnish singer Paula Koivuniemi and her long and successful career. In the title role, Paula is portrayed by Saija Tuupanen. Other roles are performed by Marita Taavitsainen, Merja Kuisma, Anna-Maija Ojansivu, Juse Venäläinen, Kristian Ijäs, Tarmo Pennanen, and child actor Moona Elorinne.
